Attestation of Documents

General Requirements

  • All documents issued from Pakistan must be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad or its Camp Offices at Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar & Quetta.
  • All Canadian documents must be attested by Global Affairs, Canada.
  • All educational documents must be attested by HEC (Higher Education Commission) and subsequently by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad or its Camp Offices at Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta.
Attestation Of Power of Attorney

General Requirements

i. Executanthas to visit Consulate personally and must sign the Power of Attorney in front of the concerned official.

ii. Original documents alongwith an additional set of photocopies.

iii. Original and valid Pakistani ID (Passport or CNIC / NICOP of the executants) as well as their photocopies.

iv. Two Passport size coloured photographs of the executant with white background taken within last three months.Photograph of the executant (person giving the power of attorney) must be pasted on the Power of Attorney beside his/her signature.

v. The Consulate General only attests signature(s) of the executant(s) and does not take any responsibility for the contents or authenticity of the contents of the Power of Attorney.

Fee:

C$20 is charged for the first three (3) continuous pages of a single document. Subsequent additional pages are charged @ C$ 20 per page.Fee is non-refundable.

Note:

The applicants are required to pay consular fee through Debit Card at the relevant counter or Bank Draft in the name of the Consulate General of Pakistan.

Processing Time:

The documents can be submitted between 0915-1215 hrs Monday to Friday and can be collected on the same day between 1400-1530 hrs.

Pakistani Driver License Verification

General Requirements

i. Original valid driving license issued from a driving licensing authority of Pakistan.

ii. Fill up the required  Driving License Form.

(Please fill up the form with the data provided on driving license only. In case of any difference between particulars mentioned in the driving license and Pakistani passport, fill up the form according to particulars mentioned in the driving license and give a separate note regarding the changed particulars mentioned in the Pakistani passport at the right bottom corner of the form on blank space.

Fee:

CD$ 20 is charged for verification.Fee is non-refundable.

Processing Time:

The documents can be submitted between 0915-1215 hrs Monday to Friday and can be collected on the same day between 1400-1530 hrs.

Note:

The applicants are required to pay consular fee through Debit Card at the relevant counter or Bank Draft in the name of the Consulate General of Pakistan.

Police Character Certificate

General Requirements

i. Dully filled-in Police Character Certificate Form (Three sets).

ii. Three copies of valid Pakistani passport / CNIC / NICOP.

iii. Three recent passport size photographs.

Processing Time:

Police Character Certificate is issued by the Consulate upon receipt of original Police Report from the concerned authorities in Pakistan which takes a few Months (Normally 3 to 6 months).

Fee:

C$20 fee is charged by the Consulate at the time of issuance of Police Character Certificate.Applicants are required to pay consular fee through Debit Card at the relevant counter or Bank Draft in the name of the Consulate General of Pakistan.Fee is non-refundable.

Pension Papers

General Requirements

i. Papers related to pension must be submitted by pensioner personally. In case of ailment, the pensioner needs to submit doctor's certificate stating health condition and specific reason for not submitting the documents personally / physically.
